He explained it already. They need to win tomorrow so in case of a tie next week they still get the 1 seed. They were just being faggots about it instead of just saying that.I'm honestly not trying to seem like a prick towards Lions fans when I say this, but the only reason I can come up with for why they think they should go all-out to beat San Fran at any cost is because they aren't very used to this type of regular season success. If the roles were reversed with the Vikings being the ones to play a now meaingless game before the Vikes/Lions showdown finale, I'd be pissed if the Vikings played the starters for more than the first quarter or perhaps half of the meaningless games. There is merit to not resting them for the full game to prevent rust, but there is no reason they should treat it like a can't-lose game.
