The hard work he did this offseason seems to have paid off. i wasn't a Murphy believer, but he's a changed player, and I think the change is for real, because he's making moves out there that I didn't think he could do when he was a rookie. I don't know what the stats say, but my impression is that the defense has played better with him on the field.

Who said he was a world beater? All I see here are his stats and perhaps folks suggesting that at least it was a good decision to retain him since others on the D have not contributed much. At this pt we should take whatever we can get.

gallette had nothing to do with this , murphy worked on his game particularly his hand strength and placement and he certainly would have been way up on the talent side of the d/line , which gallette has nothing to do with

he is a solid football player who does a lot of things for us and next to norman probably has been our most consistent player on defense

I think he did. When Glaette was healthy Murphy was behind Hood and Reyes on the depth chart. Murphy is showing some flash at oLB b/c he is getting the playing time to do so b/c of the Galette injury.

hogwash golston went down reyes went down and proved ineffective while murphy improved his game i submit he would have beat both guys out and stands behind baker as the best d/lineman on the team as his play ON THE FIELD THIS YEAR DEMONSTRATES

gallette as a redskins player has done nothing and we have no evidence supporting he would have been able to be his old self because low and behold he gets the same injury again
