Touche Bennie.

HaHa. It has been several different scenarios, but that's okay. The one with the pitchers was just the latest one. No harm done though. Some folks just have a different preference as to what they want to discuss than I do. I don't have any problem with that. I like having fun with it though.
Makes you wonder how loses their spot in the rotation when Matt Harrison who hasn't really pitched since 2012 is ready to return. Wish there were a way to keep Harrison at AAA and to pound out starts every five days.
I think we would be doing fine with Hanser and Rua as UIF in 2016. Go ahead and let Rosales go elsewhere.Let's assume Rua handles 2nd base, and we send Alberto back down.
Hanser is only 22 years old and he's played 3rd/SS/2nd in the minors. So do you think maybe he could be or UIF for 2016?
Those decisions were going to be a lot easier, but with the way the team has been playing they have become extremely difficult decisions. A lot of it will depend on how Chi Chi and Martinez pitch between now and the deadline or when Perez and Holland come back whichever comes first. I would think Wandy would be traded when Matt is ready to come back. After that it gets a lot more murky.Well if he makes it through the 30 days unscathed, which would give him about 4 maybe 5 starts we will have to answer that difficult question. He's still a long ways from being out of the woods though. Reports of his velocity being 90-91 are encouraging though.
In the spirit of the what if game though, I feel like someone might have to be traded, but IMO Harry has to be dominating I'm his rehab starts before you shoot that trigger. If you held a gun to my head, I'd say Gallardo gets put on the block, but there's way too many variables for me to make an educated guess. Maybe Martinez goes to Round Rock or long relief. I'm glad I'm not having to make that call.
It's great for Odor to be doing so well now. But the last thing we need/want, or can even afford, is to bring him back and see him get overwhelmed again. That could cause some serious and long term problems for him and us too.
Besides, Alberto is doing a pretty good impersonation of the 2014 Odor right now. Although he's exhibiting some of those same characteristics too. Like seeing all of SEVEN pitches last night in 4 AB.
I'm all for letting Odor continue to play well in the minors for now, build some confidence and have a little longer term success before yanking him back up.
I'm not trying to punt Adam (like some on here).
But, Rosales will be 34 early next season, will make about a million (maybe more), while Alberto will be 23, and makes chump change. Don't know his status contract wise, but from his age, I'm guessing we've got him cheap for a few years.
Alberto seems to have good range, live arm, but Rosales has a lot more power.
Again, I'm not trying to move Adam outta here, but he is a FA after this season.
When they get Josh back, hope they put his butt on the bench.and Martin down on 3 pitches after he starts 0-2
That should be an error.
