We're heading to Savannah next month, one of the few places of interest in the east we have yet to see. We are also considering the Bahamas maybe for next year but I'm just starting my research. Any help with that? We prefer cheap motels but they need to be clean and safe, I have no idea about what part to stay in.

Apparently not. I don't think I have any plans until July, anyway. And I'll probably be driving since there isn't a good flight option there

Hell, Delta still hasn't canceled my flight in May back from Seoul.

Had to cancel last Friday. Not sure when I'll be able to reschedule. Egypt and Dubai in Oct are equally doubtful.

Probably for the better. Last week on the news you may have seen those folks at an airport waiting in line for hours just to get screened. Then there’s the fear of not being able to get back into the US. Good luck!

Was supposed to fly out on 3/19. Cancelled the Fri before. Good thing, Fiji changed entry rules while I would have been mid Pacific to require quarantine.

My problem was I suddenly couldn't find a safe way back & was concerned I'd get stuck somewhere.

Indonesia is in free fall. Their handling may end up making Italy look good. It may not be a safe place to go for the foreseeable future.

not sure about my San Diego Comic Con trip yet.

I'm hoping the worst is over by June because I'd hate to delay my trip to Yellowstone and Tetons this summer, or maybe this year.

Indonesia looks put for me this year even if the US eases travel restrictions. Those people have made a mess of it and no telling how long they will be toxic.

Micronesian may be doable if restrictions lift.

Still leary of making Egypt and Dubai this fall.

Of course, I still have a huge credit with Fiji Airlines. LOL

Vacation suggestions. COVID states with no deaths: Hawaii and Wyoming. Choice is yours. Also there's the Virgin Islands and the Marianas.

Don't pass up states with only a single fatality: N. Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and W. VA.

I bought a round trip ticket to San Diego in July as prices were super cheap. Got all the insurance for it so if I need to cancel, I can...but if Comic Con doesn't happen, I might just go to SD for a week.

I'd start looking for things to do in San Diego. We cancelled our biggest festival this summer already, along with one of the other bigger ones. And both of those are all outdoors.

there's plenty to do in SD, so I am not worried. I could just make it a week at the beach with some golf thrown in. I am not worried.
