Lol. I WAS headed to Solomon Islands via Fiji, then about a month in various resorts in Indonesia.

Had to put everything on hold.

I snorkel around the world. If you are looking for any good spots, LMK and I'll tell you what I've found, if I've been there.

Still holding onto my reservations for Egypt and Dubai in Oct but looking ever more doubtful

Ah, I spent a summer in Malaysia when I was a teen, kind of wish I had gone when I was older and could appreciate it more.

I'm obsessed with that crystal clear blue water. Having traveled a lot to me it's the prettiest thing on Planet Earth. It's my mission to see it again and go snokeling. That's why I posted about the Bahamas. But I've also always wanted to take that drive to Key West so I may be able to accomplish both with one trip. What can you tell me about that area?

I know what you mean. Turquoise blue water sets my soul on fire.

This is what I do, often 2-3 months at a time, moving around the world from one snorkel location to another. From South Pacific to Egypt.

If I had to pick one spot, it would be Indonesia. From one island to another, the view changes and it's all amazing.

I also do underwater photography (amateur) but love it.

My daughter dives, I snorkel, we cover the ocean, top to bottom. Lol

Roatan, Honduras very good in the Caribbean.

I assume you typically check for known shark free waters or ask the locals.

I'm the one looking for shark infested waters. We love watching sharks and swimming with them. Not so much the bull or tiger.

I've done great white shark cage diving on 3 continents. It's amazing.

I was going to ask about the great white cage diving. That’s the ultimate. Put some pics up if you have any.

Now that pretty much any travel plans I had for the year are shot, I was thinking about going to a couple national parks. The gf has "family" in Arkansas, so maybe a trip down to the hot springs would be good.

I doubt we're going anywhere by plane.

Pittsburgh and Cleveland might have decent rates there. Those are the cities I flew out of when I went there and passed through

Yeah, it’s a partial. North gates are closed for now. Something like that. If I go, it probably won’t be till July.

Might as well put it here....

Mrs and I rolled up to St Augustine for a get away night. First get away since all the madness started. No need for a flight on this one.

Very pleasant and quiet. Walked to a great meal. Not a lot of mask wearing on the street but everyone was putting them on before going in anywhere. I’m good with that. It’s still vacation.
