We don't have a 5th round pick. The rumored compensation appears to be a 5th round draft pick.
If we somehow come up with a 5th I'd do it. Ramsey and Lattimore, with Sainristil in the slot. Takes CB off of our draft board. The rumored compensation appears to be a 5th round draft pick.
The Miami Dolphins are seeking a 5th-round draft pick in exchange for trading Jalen Ramsey, with the possibility of a higher round if the compensation is received in the 2026 draft. A trade is complicated by Ramsey's contract, which would require the Dolphins to absorb a portion of his salary if the deal is completed before June 1st.We don't have a 5th round pick.![]()
Sorry, I didn't see this before responding to @deanpet21. The Commanders could get him this year for compensation next year.If we somehow come up with a 5th I'd do it. Ramsey and Lattimore, with Sainristil in the slot. Takes CB off of our draft board.
If Lattimore pulls a hammy, we will have three 5'10 slot corners out there, with Nabers, AJ, Lamb, and possibly Tet in the division.
I expect them the draft a corner, but I'm not surprised that Adam has picked up the phone to check the asking price.
Didn't vote because it's conditional for me. 5th? Yes. 128 is where im really hoping Felton falls to us.
We'll see if Adam has one more trick up his sleeve. Hendrickson.....Ramsey? I'm content with not trading for another vet. I'm actually content with saying put and coming away with two sure fire starters at 29 and 61.Sorry, I didn't see this before responding to @deanpet21. 29 and 61? Perhaps but I don't see them making the selection at 29 at all. We are mere hours away from finding out. We'll see if Adam has one more trick up his sleeve. Hendrickson.....Ramsey? So far Adam has earned my trust. He and JD have really turned this thing around and quickly.
Kinlaw, Sinnott, Luke.......TBD but has pretty much hit on everything else so far.
Yeah, I'm sure they are trying to, but I won't pitch a fit if we stay. There are going to be some good ball players on the board at 29.29 and 61? Perhaps but I don't see them making the selection at 29 at all. We are mere hours away from finding out.
I actually see them adding more veterans this offseason. As many as four, perhaps 5 or 6.

Reports suggest the Dolphins are looking for a 5th-round pick as compensation for trading Ramsey, potentially upgrading to a higher round if the trade is finalized after the 2025 NFL Draft.
- Contract Issues:
Ramsey's contract presents a challenge for the Dolphins, as they would have to absorb a significant amount of his $25.2 million salary if the trade is completed before June 1st.
- Trade Timeline:
The Dolphins are exploring trade options, but the timeline is influenced by Ramsey's contract and the potential for a more favorable deal after the 2025 NFL Draft.
- Possible Trade Partners:
Teams like the Rams, Falcons, Lions, Commanders, and Eagles have been mentioned as potential trade partners for Ramsey.
They can trade for one and deal it.We don't have a 5th round pick.![]()
