I dont understand this trade. I don't see the fit,although I suppose this could mean Gregory wont be back this season? The ends not named Quinn and DLaw have been invisible for the most part. Can he play 3tech? Cause we are getting zero pass rush there

Definitely replaces Crawford. How effectively... guess we’ll find out.

I suspect they didn't want to take on a large cap hit and that is why they liked the Bennett deal.

Probably true but Atkins would fit a real need on the DL

This guy cost you about $8M for the rest of the year. Not sure how much you'd have to give up. Don't think we want to incur that cap space or give up a valuable pick

Slowly warming up to the idea of Bennett coming in and bringing some nastiness and yeah he bends the rules at times which is ok with me. He will will bring some pass rush ability to the rotation and is a better pass rusher than Crawford is.

Bennett hopefully shocks me and plays for us for the rest of the season and gets lots of pressure on qbs.we are thin on the DL.

Bennett is a locker room distraction.

He's Crawford in this rotation. DE and DT on passing downs. He also plays the run fairly well and that's a plus for this team.

Hell...cheered for Owens when he was here, this guy will be a walk in the park compared to Owens for me.
