That is a horrible trade. You are saying that he was offered Nelson and Stacy? You are way far overvaluing Brees. I could make a better case for either Nelson or Stacy straight up for Brees than both of them for Brees.

Clearly the owner getting Stacy needs an RB. It does not look like he knows what he is doing, but I say that based on his draft, not this trade.

This issue is a slippery one, because you cannot simply veto a trade like this one because it was made in good faith. The only way to fix an issue like this is to boot the bad owner. He has got to be totally incompetent if he prefers Kaeps over Jordy Nelson.

One bad owner can ruin a draft. Our 10 have always been solid until this yr.

I agree with Tlance which is why i said i would have taken Stacy/Nelson--that is robbery--
i stand by Stacy/Kap as a fair balanced trade

Fair trade. The season hasn't even started yet, so certainly there is no collusion here. 1 person upgraded at QB; the other person upgraded at #2 RB. I get that some will think one side got a slight edge over the other - but I certainly wouldn't want to be in a league where that type of trade was vetoed.

When it comes to trades unless it is ridiculously one sided, at least 80/20 then I think it's fine. I'm sure last year if somebody had offered Aaron Rodgers for Philip Rivers and Ryan Matthews we would have thought that was completely unfair too, but you never know how the season will play out.

I agree with your thinking here, but this type of trade is often available to owners who draft well. Clearly the guy trading Kaeps and Stacy did that.

IMO dude would have been better off trading Brees for Stacey and either Freddy or Sankey..and held firm. Still say it was a fair trade. BTW, these are 10 teamers right????? Unless Moreno has a flashback to last year dude is in for a long season methinks.

Honestly, his team is good, but not great for a 10 team league. He can be beat for sure.

This is the last I will say on this issue, but because QBs get drafted so aggressively in this league, you are even better served to wait on them. You can essentially get an advantage at every other position while your league mates are reaching for QBs. I would not even think about a QB before round 7 in a league like this (and would likely wait even longer), because you are never going to get a good value on them early and there will be some decent options available in the end game in a 10 team league.

While the guy getting Brees is making his starting line-up better, he is now dangerously thin at RB after dealing Stacy.

Fantasy football is based entirely on speculation. Entirely. There are no "facts" about a player's production next season, or even next week. And the factors underlying this speculation changes on a daily basis. The draft is over - draft position is meaningless now.

By the way, how do the playoffs work in this league, and who qualifies for them?

40 TEAMS- 4 divisions of 10. 4 separate drafts meaning you can play against your own players. Like I have Rodgers. I could play against him in the playoffs. I have always voted to do something about that- either to play your back up or have a system which the higher scoring team for season gets first pick- if we had 2 or more of the same.


16 team playoff- top 3 seeds from each division, 4 wildcards decided on overall record with total points

12 week season - 9 games in the division , 3 games out of divison randomly generated by computer.

4 weeks of playoffs.
