A guy in my league wants to trade me RB Giovanni Bernard and WR Terrance Williams for Marshawn Lynch. I'm thinking that's a big fat no, but wanted to get you guys' opinions.

I'm thin at RB as it is with lynch as my #1 and trying to decide whether to start Richardson or Terrance West.

Funny thing is that preseason, the trade would have likely been Lynch and Williams for gio... and now after week one we are back on the lynch train... Not sure why we got off of it, he is just not a very flashy stud, but he is a stud...

It is not a bad offer, but I agree I would not trade lynch for a downgrade and a flex option...

I think the offer itself is fair, but given your RB situation i'd say no. Is there a second RB on his roster worth countering for in place of T. Williams? Even that's a stretch, but maybe there's a gem there to steal

He's got Adrian Peterson (untouchable I'm sure), Pierre Thomas, Andre Ellington, and Chris Johnson.

It's not awful - but not sure I would give up Lynch. Only way is if you really can use Terrance at WR.

Gio looks like he may have a good year - but I would demand a little better upgrade at the other spot.

My WR are Julio Jones, Victor Cruz, Reggie Wayne, Torrey Smith, and Kelvin Benjamin.

Gio and CJ1K (or Ellington) for Lynch. Better for both of you. He can start AP and Lynch with Ellington/CJ1K at the flex, not leave points moldering on his bench, and you don't have to start junk at RB2.

He countered with Ellington and CJ1K. I told him Gio plus one of those two.

Man, as much as I hate to say it those foot injuries just seem to turn into that plantar shit and mofo's miss lots o time. So if I make the trade I'm asking for CJ?K over Ellington and to be honest I'm probably not making that trade IMO.

His receivers are AJ Green, Emmanuel Sanders, Keenan Allen, and Terrance Williams. I could ask for Gio+ one of his two best receivers but I'm afraid that puts me in as bad, if not a worse spot than I was.

He won't give me two RB's if he trades Gio.

The more I think about it, the more I suspect Gio's value is going to take a hit this week as Hill gets 10-15 touches and the goal line work. Sam's right about that foot business being tricky, too. CJ1K is the only "sure" thing there.

The good news is now you can start West, with Tate reportedly out for a little while. And with that news, I'd probably stand pat for now.

So you start Lynch, West, Julio, Wayne and Benjamin this week.................not sure about the rest of your team but I think I like that (until Tate is back for probably a quarter) better than the Gio/CJ?K version anyway. Tate's out 2-4 weeks with a sprained knee...........I'd say 4 weeks but then again don't forget this is the guy that played half a season with 4 broken ribs! Say what you want about Tate but he is a tough SOB! Anyway, the Browns have better options so I don't see them letting him come back until 100% so you are safe with West IMO.

The only problem for West, short-term, is that other dude gobbling up goal line work.
