Am I nuts or is that a lot to give up for Brandon Carlo?

Remember my earlier comment about teams making trades just to make trades....

It's almost as if the Flames traded the Treliving tax to the Bruins :D

Nice that he wasn't going to panic his way into a Jarmo-level mistake. In Fischer and Kunin, he got 940 some games of experience and we can move Labate and Pyythia to Cleveland and pretty much make sure we don't have to hurt the Monsters for their run by pulling up LDBB or Brindley. And it only cost us a pick we got for Texier.

Gudbranson, Sillinger and Monahan should be back soon. And we can still go after Boeser, Bennett and/or Ekblad this offseason. Or just go ahead and keep Provorov. Still in a good position.

Flames did their deadline trade a few weeks ago picking up Frost and Farabee - Pleased that Conroy didn't do anything dumb today, let's just see how the rest of the season goes, even if they make the playoffs, it will likely be a short stay.
