Needs to be at Midnight and a Wavier one to or even Buyout Market. Also ESPN needs a real Insider. Some Blockbuster on Friday of it coming up.
Would be nice if they did but they don't.

Not only following a few twitter accounts I like to go here: NHL Rumors - ProHockeyRumors.com as it is a good aggregator for all news feeds.

Canada has all the Insiders. Freeman shows up from time on ESPN/NHL Network. Al Morganti was a good Insider. Also mynhltraderumors is another site.

Frank Seravalli is another good follow, he has a tendency to rub people the wrong way, but he usually delivers the straight dope.

Wait, so Boston and NJ both retained salary? Equaling 100%?

Edit: Okay, so Boston did retain 50% of his original deal, and NJ retained 50% of what they were supposed to pay him for a grand total of 75% retained, Edmonton pays him 25%.

Something, something spirit of the cap

75% total retention I believe. That's usually the case when you bring in a broker, they will retain some additional salary (50% being the max) and will get some draft picks for taking on that salary.

So I am guessing Boston is a seller with Marchand out long term now?

Also I laugh at the fact the Oilers are wasting almost 2 million this season on James Kneel.

Yeah, I think the B's are in sell mode. I still think the best course for the Flames is to sell as well, but I think Conroy is going to keep all the vets.

Just my opinion, but Suter is a pretty useful player and if you don't resign him, he's the type of guy that you are looking for to help out your penalty kill etc. Obviously, if he's looking for too much money, that certainly changes things.
yup career high for him in goals already this year. I think he wants to cash in though and if they truly want to improve team speed, he is one of the candidates (who has a semblance of value) that needs to go

I remember when he was FA @sbb122 really wanting him in Pittsburgh. He could have helped that team greatly instead we got nothing but trash on the 3rd line the last few seasons.

I wouldn't refer to Acciari and Nieto as trash.

That's too kind, steaming piles of dog puke would be more apropos.

Laughton has averaged 32 pts/82 games in his career what the hell is going on here lol. Really hope Tre is indeed being smarter than that here.
