Trade Cousins to Browns

Now that the Browns have 2-1st rd picks I could see them maybe trading 1 of them for Cousins. Thoughts? I would do this trade at the end of the season.

Richardson played with broken ribs th entire season for a godawful browns team and still got 950 yes and some tds.

He's a former #3 pick in the draft that was traded for what will probably be the #20ish pick in the draft. Plus the Browns are signing a free agent rb to start?!?!

Cousins can get a #1, or multiple lower round picks if he plays well in one game this year. Likely.

The redskins should trade Royster to the browns for a mid round pick, if they really we reeling shrewd.

Cousins has almost no shot at even a late first rounder. If he draws it, the team getting him loses bad.

I just don't see anyone giving up even a 2nd round pick for Cousins. Maybe before the Matt Flynns of the world screwed it up but he hasn't done nearly enough to get a high pick in return. If griffin comes up lame again or forgets how to step, plant and throw again the skins will need Kirk.

Now in my perfect world griffin comes out against the lions and plays with confidence and never looks back. Cousins gets traded next year on draft day for a 2nd rounder and the rams get our pick (32nd overall)

My thoughts exactly, if they'll give a 1st for Richardson, they might give up a 1st for Cousins, JDM puts too much stock in the brains these GM's have, he apparently never saw Cerrato.

First off, even Daniel Snyder isn't that stupid. Trading away your security blanket for a so far, oft injured QB would be absurd. Secondly, the Browns just traded away their only shot at a decent season. They've thrown in the towel and are likely trying to get Bridgewater or someone like him.

I thought the same thing at first but listening to some commentary today it is actually not bad for the Browns.

The mistake was drafting Richardson that high in the 1st place. That is not a knock on Richardson - it is simply the fact that nobody should be drafting RBs that high at this time. Obviously - AP is the exception, but you don't need someone like that. Look at someone like Morris - late round pick who is more than adequate at this time. There are quite a few other RBs in the NFL that have or or filling this role.

This is a pass driven league. You need a franchise QB for starters & the Browns don't have one. RBs have a very short shelf life & Richardson could quite possibly do great for 3-4 years then start to fade due to injuries and other factors.

Don't really know about Cousins value, but I would not completely badmouth the Colts trade until we see how this pans out over the next several years (although it does suck if you are a Browns fan & have to pretty much write off this season).

Enough of this Trade Cousins Talk already........We NEED him!!!!! If we trade him we dont get a good pick right now, and we are 1PLAY.....1 PLAY away from having Rex as the QB if we trade Cousins.....This year is WAY to early to bail on and I dont want to know that the next guy up is REX if cousins is traded........

Best case Cousins gets in some games to clean up and let RGIII rest...PLays good, and next offseason...Maybe look to trade him hopiing for a 2nd rounder from a team in NEED of a QB...

Well they wont need to try too hard thats for sure......especially now that they traded Richardson!!!
