It would be utter insanity to offer a first for Lynch. Those picks are like gold. You use them to add young studs who will hopefully be the cornerstones of your franchise for many years. You don't use a first on an aging running back that couldn't make the cut in crappy Buffalo. With a solid O line you cab easily find a back that can get the 4 yards a carry that we need.

It's not as easy as you make it sound or every team in the league would have a great RB. And where we are picking, getting a stud is a lot about luck. It's not like we will be picking top 10.

etu Tubbs? You'd rather have an aging RB with a history of off the field issues rather than say LaMarr Miller or another 1st round prospect (David DeCastro)? Not to mention that it's probably more cost effective now to stick with the rook as I'm sure Beast Mode would want a new contract.

I didn't say I'd do the trade. I would trade a first for him. I was just Responding to the post above me about adding studs to the team And about easily finding a good back. I love Miller personally.

Lynch is really good, but I wouldn't trade a 1st rd pick for him.

I wouldn't be opposed to signing him for the right price. Wouldn't pay an outrageous amount for him though.

I'm not a fan of bringing him in even via FA. You have to remember that this is a guy that Buffalo spent a #1 pick on, were completely devoid of talent and said we want nothing to do with this guy. They gave him away when they had nothing. It wasnt because they 'knew' they were getting Spiller. It;s because they had buyer's remorse and just wanted to be done with Lynch. I'm sure everyone in Buffalo's FO wishes they had a mulligan on that pick. So yeah, I'd oppose significant investment of any kind (be it draft picks or money through FA) in Lynch. Just sick of players like that. Fuck Dwayne Bowe and DeSean Jackson too. Let them be somebody else's headache.

Lynch isn't a headache anymore though. He hasn't been since he has been in Sea. I'd take a flyer on him.

I'd rather draft somebody. He'll collect alot of coin most likely. Rather spend it somewhere else. I havent seen him play that much (pretty much just in the buffalo and Seattle games against the Bengals) but have never come away impressed. Did he even play when the Seahawks played the Bengals earlier in the season? I dont remember him being much of a factor.

Just looked it up. He did play against the Bengals. 16 rushes for 24 yards. Wonder why the K-man wasnt advocating trading a 1 and 2 for him after that performance rather than the Eagles (who have clearly checked out and are totally deviod of spine and heart). Lynch did score a TD though v. Cinci...

I always trust other people's sources before I trust yours, sorry. Your simply just wrong so much I always just automatically assume the opposite to be true no matter what you say.

lol. I kill me, sigh.

When the Seahawks acquired Lynch from Buffalo last season, they also acquired the contract he signed as the 12th overall choice of the 2007 draft. That deal ran through 2012, but the final year voided. That means Lynch will hit the market this coming offseason unless the Seahawks use the franchise tag on him or the sides reach an agreement on a new deal.

Hawks wouldn't be same minus Beast Mode - NFC West Blog - ESPN

That's from ESPN, specifically from an individual that blogs daily on nothing but news concerning NFC West teams...but he/they probably aren't as up to speed as the highly reputable spotrac.com

After all, the latter is the World Wide Leader in Sports. Right?
