That's what I can't figure out dash, he's always been an asshat but for some reason this year he has raised the bar. What is he trying to accomplish? If they were down 3-0 or something like that I would figure he is just pulling a Burkie and trying to divert attention from his teams performance.

The only thing I can think of is he's trying to keep the pressure off of his players by taking the attention on himself...but you can do that without being a jerk to people just doing their jobs (AKA reporters, writers, et al.). I really lost most respect with this because he's just a giant hypocrite after he went off about the Pens.

It's hard to explain like you said they have some good players that do sell out for the team every game, it's like he wants all of the attention to be focused on him.

I would be interested to hear from Rangers fans and see what they think of his antics.

I think you're right. NHL should suspend all light sabres, but we know that the green ones will probably get the star treatment and only receive a fine.
