The words "great recruiting classes" and "best recruiting classes ever" have been thrown around this board and it is a topic of discussion when talking about replacing depth. This is not an attack on Stew, but it should be a eye opener that those highly rated classes were really not that good for WVU.....he did find some gems for sure and for that he should be commended...but as far as depth these were horrible classes for the future of our program.

21 players, 11 never played for WVU. 3 players who have contributed.
Total 47 players, 23 never having played at WVU 48% of players recruited in a two year span never played. I am not sure how this would compare to other schools but I have to believe it would be pretty high.
Look I am sick of the Stew vs DH arguement and I did not post this to make anyone look bad or good, but the reality is with whoever was our coach our depth and talent was going to struggle. This is a legit arguement as to why we are hurting so bad when facing better teams that do not have the depth issues we have. This is not the root to all of our issues, but it has definitly not helped.
Sorry if any errors typing this out at work.
