And LSU(11), Florida(5), Wake Forest(7)... *

Wow, it's mostly UT(7) and those three.

Only 10 from other schools... Stanford, Virginia, and TCU...

*My counts may be +/- 1 ;)

I think we all know which ones @stanford the manford would suggest. ;)
I am a Stanford fan. I grew up in Los Altos Hills, maybe 10 mins from the Farm.

But Stanford players do not have a good track record in MLB. I think I read somewhere that Stanford baseball teaches the game in a very non-traditional way that does not translate well to the pro game.

I remember, back in the 90s, Stanford had this reputation as being the preeminent west coast school for developing draft picks. I feel like most of that rested on Mike Mussina.

Bad news, good news
Another 1st round exit for Stanford at the CWS
Good news, now to focus on the Giants... starting with my $5.01 seats Th vs Padres (thank you Levi's 501)

Regarding Stanford's prospects:
Tommy Troy looks to me a lot like Nico Hoerner (Stanford guy now with the Cubs). Maybe a little slower defensively so MLB could be a struggle
Braden Montgomery has all the tools but IMO had a sophomore slump. If he projects like his frosh season, he could be a very good player
It wouldn't surprise me if Quinn Mathews ends up with a long career as a middle reliever
Malcolm Moore is interesting. Frosh catcher, big guy with a cannon of an arm and the most unconventional stance I can recall. Seems to work for him. Looking forward to see how the next 2 yrs play out.

Can't say it doesn't hurt to see another 1st round exit, but 3 years consecutive CWS appearances is impressive. Should have take game 1 against Wake Forest, but bully couldn't get it done. Maybe next year
