Someone needs to change their name to Roboduck! I've never had more than my one SN but I swear if you could I would be so tempted to make that an SN and use him as the avi! The trolling would be epic!

If we're just restricting it to the BCS era:

5: 0-21 over a two-year period
4: storming the field after breaking that losing streak, against New Mexico State
3: the UT game 2013 (It's the BCS-era equivalent of the 84 Navy game)
2: the brawl with Clemson that cost both schools a bowl appearance in 2006
1: hardly showing up for the SECCG againt Camburn in 2010

In no particular order other than #1 and #2:

1. The Nevada choke job that cost Boise a Rose Bowl birth in 2010 and the TCU loss that cost them a Fiesta Bowl birth in 2011. Both on "game-winning," last second, chip shot field goal attempts and misses. So incredibly painful. Some people say the TCU loss acually cost them a national title shot. Those people are delusional. They had no prayer at the NCG regardless due to the schedule. Last second/minute bowl losses to Louisville in '04 and TCU in '08 get honorable mentions as they cost Boise undefeated seasons too.

2. The 12 game losing streak to Idaho in the 80s and 90s.

3. The UGA beatdown between the hedges in 2005. Humiliating.

4. The taunting by Hout that lead to the Blount punch after the Oregon game in 2009. It was classless but the response was priceless. He flipped him on the shoulder pad and said, "How's about that ass whoopin'?" That was after Blount promised Boise an "ass whoopin'" after getting ambushed by them the year before at Autzen.

5. Last season's debacle. Five losses, some of them by scores like 38 to 6 to Washington. EMBARRASSING. Two wins over bowl teams all season, mighty Utah State and mighty Colorado State. Peegate in Hawaii to put the icing on the cake followed by Petersen leaving and then flipping all of Boise's top recruits to Washington, destroying Boise's class.

Kinda hesitant to reveal this little tidbit but it's a fact so here goes: the RUF/NEK queen wasn't wearing any underwear and there was a photograph of her taken from a sideline photographer showing her after the accident happened. The photograph used to be around on a couple of password protected websites. The photograph was not photoshopped. I don't know how it got on the internet but there were a couple of lawsuits threatened over its being shown and the photograph is no longer available. Embarrassing as hell for her, ya think?

And that is why, your mom always told you, "make sure you're wearing clean underwear...in case you have an accident."

I just noticed this is corroberated on Wikipedia under Sooner Schooner in case someone thinks it isn't true:

The "Sooner Schooner Mooner"

Another incident that drew national attention occurred in 1993 during a game against Colorado. After a field goal by Oklahoma's Scott Blanton, the Sooner Schooner was driven out onto the field in celebration. However, the wagon took a corner too sharply and tipped over, spilling the driver, the flag bearer, and the RUF/NEK queen onto the turf. The driver suffered a broken arm, but most of the crowd's attention was directed at the RUF/NEK queen, whose skirt flew up during the fall. She was not wearing any underwear.

You could of left it at "we have pig-horses for mascots". That would have been enough

As opposed to the castrated and heavily sedated steer UT has? Surely you jest.

Who has the worst mascot?

Cy (Iowa State), 25%
Big Jay (Kansas), 11%
Willie the Wildcat (Kansas State), 11%
Boomer and Sooner (Oklahoma), 11%
Pistol Pete (Oklahoma State), 11%
Bevo (Texas), 11%

What they said:

“I don’t know how a bird matches a Cyclone.”

"OU – they got those horse-pig things."

“KU. It’s a mythical bird. Why wouldn’t you go with a blue jay or something that is known to be aggressive?”

jayhawker (plural jayhawkers)
An abolitionist raider in the Kansas-Missouri border skirmishes during the American Civil War

Yesterday was statehood day in Kansas, Missouri has regretted it ever since 1861. :D So, there is a historical significance to why KU's mascot is a Jayhawk.

Thank Goodness Nevada pulled that off.

Boise State in the Grandaddy sounds filthy.

Bad enough they let TCU play in that thing.
