Shame that Raines may not end up making it in the hall (55% of the vote last year and has 2 more years on the ballot.

I really hate comparing pre 1900 players to modern players... The stats just don't translate... and some stats were calculated differently(SBs)...

If Kelley's stats were modern day stats, then it wouldn't even be a question that Kelley was better...

But since I understand modern day stats better than pre-1900 stats, and because I too am one who questions why Tim Raines is not in the HOF... also since there is a significant difference in games and AB, I will go with Raines...
