People will yell about the Coors Field advantage, but I still think Helton was a great player. Just not in the same class as Gehrig though.

Agreed, Helton was great... There is some coors effect, but at least his road numbers were decent enough... His Road OBP is still a .386 and .855 OPS... That would still rank as a top 32 first baseman... And most players were better at home...

But no matter how you cut it, Gehrig was much better...

He was a great player. However, he played at Coors Field during the Steroid era. That is going to hurt his case more than anything.
