This is pretty close, especially since CF is a defensive PREMIUM position... But it appears that Mantle's bat was MUCH better than Griffey's.... His BA and BB were not very close while their power numbers were very close...

So i have to give the win to mantle, who in the beginning of his career was a good defensive player...

I know Griffey was considered a very good defensive CFer, while Mantle was not.

I am trying to find a way to vote for Griffey, I just dont see it. Mantle in a walk.
