Peter King said he wouldn't draft a WR in the 1st round since the position is so deep. Have they become like RBs? I suppose you could say that about any position really to an extent. There's talent everywhere. The example he used was Michael Thomas, a 2nd round pick.

I've been saying the same thing all week. Unless you're starved for a WR and you think you're one player away I'd draft a different pisition or trade that first round pick and double up on WRs in the 2nd. Or one in the 2nd and one later depending on the type of WR/s your team needs.

True but with the pocket passer becoming less and less the need for exact route runners is not as important as it once was. With so many of these mobile quarterbacks now in the league who break containment more than people on 14 day Covid quarantine. Who cares about precise routes?

Making the assumption I have a mobile QB or will be drafting one as more and more are coming out of college. I put more weight on a guy who can separate, track the ball and can/will fight for the ball. More than a precise route runner or top end speed.
