Sorry to go OT...If I could find the video of what caused it, I'd show you, but it was a hit that made you think knee and not groin. As to he is ALWAYS injured, you can't really blame his injuries last season (puck to the head and Stephan headshot) nor can you blame him for his 1st injury this season (again, dump in cought him in the face). Yes he gets injured a lot and he needs to do a better job not taking hits unnecessary hits, but this injury was a result of a knee on knee hit...

I am not blaming last season's injuries on his shape. Knee on knee or not, if your musculature is better built you can avoid those injuries or take the impact better. It also has a TON to do with how long it takes you to come back.

You can not achieve if you are not on the ice.....ergo......

You say a pattern is forming, yet you say that you don't blame his injuries last year on him...So a pattern is forming off of which injuries? Yes his conditioning isn't great and he has gotten injured a lot, but at the moment they aren't connected.
