This needs to be divided into more categories (as they did in the vid apparently, but not well IMO). There are plenty of guitarists that play rings around the above in many different genres, so what is the criteria? Historical importance, or physical and musical ability? No country, classical, jazz?

I can agree with 4, maybe 5 of those.
The other 5 or 6....meh.

A top 10 guitarist list that doesn't include Jeff Beck +/or Frank Zappa (to name just 2) is simply incomplete.

These are impossible.

There's a shit ton of great guitarists throughout time, from many different genres.

Personally, I don't think guys like Roy Clark and Jerry Reed get nearly enough credit, but are they top 10 all time? They'd make my list, but I bet I'd be in the minority.

That being said, Dire Straights is underrated imo.
