That's got to suck for the Seattle fans that all got together to watch the draft.

I was pretty convinced that they were going to trade down before the draft even started so I actually wasn't too broken up about it. Wouldn't surprise me if they don't pick at 40 tomorrow either.

I went to a Steeler fan club watch party. The only fun part about it was the free bowling.

It was fun to participate, although I imagine Comeds is staring daggers at us all.

nope i enjoyed it .. I enjoyed all the other teams in the NFC west making moves to try and replicate/challaneg the Seahawks

and the buzz all along was that Schneider was trading down because he likes quantity over supposed quality ... he got out of a first round money position and the guy(s) he wants will possibly still be there at 40

Schneider is the the man ... hopefully he can pull off another D+ draft like 2011 ... right mel kiper???

i honestly want Manziel to be successful even though he comes across as a douche and almost everyone questions his professionalism

but i dont want him to be tebow redux ... which he kinda already is thanks to espn *

with that in mind, i dont know what would be worse ... him being successful? or him being a total washout?

*
·ESPN brought up Manziel's name 83 times, and referred to him as "Johnny Football" 30 more.

·The total of 113 mentions outpaces that of the top five draft picks combined

·#1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney came in second, earning 29 mentions on ESPN

·The network's longest period of time without mentioning Manziel: 18 minutes, 50 seconds—spanning the first three picks of the draft

Boy am I glad hockey doesn't have the problem of picking one person and promoting them so hard that half the fans in the league hate him before he's even played a minute in the league.

Mitch Berger (in reference to the Jags taking Blake Bortles at 3) saying he, himself could run a 4.9 40 right now lol

I was more referring to the crowd shown on the NFL network during the draft that gathered outdoors. Although it can't be any more awkward than the Niners fans that showed up to watch the team reach for a small safety. The look on some of their faces was priceless. You could tell they had no idea who Ward is.

It was obvious the Bills were looking to get rid of Stevie, and the move to get Sammy Watkins was the final nail in the coffin.

The best part was that the Bills General Manager, Doug Whaley, had this to say to reporters last night after the draft:

Q: What is the future for Stevie Johnson?

DW: This is all about our first round pick Sammy Watkins. We’re taking this all in, leaving this to you guys to pontificate on that. We’re all about Sammy Watkins right now and we’re excited about that. Stevie is on our team, he is under contract and that is another weapon in our arsenal.

I honestly didn't expect him to be traded this soon, but at least the Bills can now move on, and not let this be a distraction moving forward.

Glad to see Johnson get moved. Lots of talent but a propensity to drop the big balls (hehe) and never seemed like much of a team guy.
