Interesting perspective on Richard Sherman.
I think it overlooks a little that most people are going to judge the 15 seconds they see you on national television rather than your life's story. But I agree the reaction has been a little over the top in the sense that most corners and wide receivers live their pro lives on an island against each other and being pompous/arrogant is par for the course there.
Was he an ass? Sure. But should we be so upset about it? Probably not.

It really doesn't bug me that much. Who knows what type of stuff Crabtree said, we don't know the whole story. The timing of the interview and the heat of the moment, it's tough to over analyze how somebody reacts in that situation. Emotions were high, the guy was fired up, probably didn't have the clearest mind, and at the end of the day he really didn't say anything all that terrible. Could it have been handled better? Absolutely. Should he be crucified for it? Nope.
