I don't see the difference between grabbing jersey at shoulder level and grabbing jersey at lower back level... but I guess they do.




pads? sure, call it if you hooks the pads, but jersey? weak. but... 'tis the new NFL where you can't hit anyone without someone calling for a flag, players, coaches and fans alike.

The NFL is so soft on certain things (horsecollar, touching the quarterback in any sense whatsoever, etc.) and NOT on other things. Example, Timmons got flagged for a blow to the head on a QB merely because he was a QB and not another player. However if Sanchez had moved about six inches forward past the line of scrimmage, it would've been fine because he was a "runner". They coddle QBs way to freaking much...and the QBs know it, extort it, and expect it now.
