I thought it was a good call, the defender can't push the receiver out of bounds.

I don't think it affected the play but Manning will talk to the refs about that contact on the pick 6. Defenders wont be able to look at the recievers.

I could see illegal contact for contact past 5 yards, but the ball was 10 yards overthrown.

What was called wasn't pass interference. He had better position on the receiver, which is what forced him out of bounds. There was illegal contact earlier in the play, but it should have been ten yards, not a spot foul.

I don't think it matters. It would have been a first down either way. I think the TD would / could still have happened from 10 more yards.

Probably. I don't think the nature of the penalty led to the touchdown. I just think the refs need to get it right.
