Id take that. bresee is a bit of a boom-bust guy but he is a physical freak.Carroll today basically said they were sticking w/ the 3-4 going into next year...
Also, just did a 1st round mock... Here is what I drafted... I traded pick #5 for #10, #31 and 2nd round pick in 2024 w/ the Jets... J. Carter & Will Anderson were off the board w/ our pick...
Like the Sewell and Ika picks a lot. I feel Bresee isn't going to work out.Carroll today basically said they were sticking w/ the 3-4 going into next year...

Regular season record was worse than ours.Anyone else confused why the #4 seed that got a home playoff game picks ahead of the #7 seed that played on the road?

Sure... but why do they pick ahead of us AND get the benefits of having been the 4 seed (home playoff game w/outside chance of a 2nd)?They finished the season with a losing record, this is why i said they needed to beat Dallas.
That used to be the case. I forget what year it was, but we lost to the rams at home in the playoffs and they picked several spots ahead of usSure... but why do they pick ahead of us AND get the benefits of having been the 4 seed (home playoff game w/outside chance of a 2nd)?
By the logic employed, they should also pick ahead of any non-playoff teams who had a better final record.

I would wet my pants w/ joy if played out that way...
This mock has us trading down to 9 and picking up a 3rd plus a 1st in 2024, and picking Tyree wilson.
I would take this in a heartbeat. Gives us ammo to move up next year in a much better QB class
I like the trade, getting a 2024 first and still getting Tyree Wilson would be amazing, hated the other Seahawks picks though.

dexter would be a nice piece, and honestly I wouldnt put it past them to take a WR at 20.I like the trade, getting a 2024 first and still getting Tyree Wilson would be amazing, hated the other Seahawks picks though.
Yeah, I get how it works. I just think its dumb that they get every possible benefit of being in a shitty division. Give them a home playoff game, but they shouldn't be picking ahead of the teams that would need to travel to play them in the playoffs (unless they/we advanced farther).Playoff seeding is based on division champions. Tampa was the division champ with the worst record, so they were the 4th seed.
Draft position is based on how deep into the playoffs you go and then on record. Non playoff teams pick first, then the losers of the wild card round, then losers of the division round, then losers of the championship round followed by the loser of the Super Bowl - and finally the winner of the Super Bowl. The Buccs and Seahawks lost in the same round, Buccs had the worse record - they get the higher pick.
Or taking that TE from Notre Dame if he's still available... Dissly can't be relied on anymore imo...dexter would be a nice piece, and honestly I wouldnt put it past them to take a WR at 20.
Dissly's first two years he played a total of 10 games out of a possible 32.Or taking that TE from Notre Dame if he's still available... Dissly can't be relied on anymore imo...
Injuries in 3 of his 5 seasons... 60% of the time... He had an injury in our last game of the season in 2021 but he didn't miss any games because it was the last game of the season... He had a rare injury that Carroll has never seen this year with a break at the top of his fibula where it connects... That doesn't make me feel good...Dissly's first two years he played a total of 10 games out of a possible 32.
Dissly's last 3 years he has played 46 out of 50 games
WTF, he missed 0 games in 2020, 2 in 2021 and 2 in 2022. That's pretty dame reliable to me the last 3 years. You're to stuck on 2018-2019. You all should focus on Jamal Adams numbers more.
If you said Player A will miss 4 games over a 3 year period most would say that player A is reliable.
Got Fant and Parkinson in addition to Dissly, I don't see much need at the position, especially when compared to position that have great need.Injuries in 3 of his 5 seasons... 60% of the time... I'd be ok drafting a TE at some time in this draft - I don't see Dissly's injury history behind him...
