Guys, this virus is going to run its course with or without football. Are you guys going to be all for shutting down next year, or the next because there will still be cases? Many universities are starting IN PERSON courses this week, including the big 10......if they can have school, they can play ball. Using the logic I see in this thread, college football is over.....we will be testing for this virus and others as an excuse to not play. In ohio in 2020, there have been more people die of drug overdoses than WITH covid!!!!!

Candidly I am not sure....I think there will be a therapy by end of year but you have a pretty large Anti Vaxxer community that will not be interested in any therapy... Candidly hoping the Russians who think they are on to something now is for real and I guess we start there. They plan to immunize now without going through a 3 phase clinical trial....but even if it is the silver bullet I am sure the QANON community will say the Russians have the final solutions to wipe us out!

Just heard that WVU has already had 81 new cases last week. BTW, none of those count in WV or mon county numbers. Also, multiple cases at a single institution now count as only one case. So that nursing home with 48 cases and 8 deaths now counts as only one... In order to reopen, our government is now choosing to ignore the problem.

In the first week of class, WVU detected 107 positive individuals. There are also six students facing expulsion for holding large house parties. They estimate 13,000 students on campus. So it's less than 1%. I wonder how quickly it will spread, and if WVU plans to continue mandatory testing. Those 107 individuals have likely passed Corona to others prior to going for their test.

Heard a clip of an interview Tony had with Shane Lyons. When asked what season ticket holders' options were for not being able to use their tickets, the AD asked that it be left as a "donation". I watched the first college football game of the season last night. Not very good football, but at least it was football.

Looking forward to watching WVU play in less than a couple of weeks.

I've enjoyed watching the number of deaths continue to climb in our country too. I'm into winning. And, our country has put ourselves so far out in front in terms of cases and more importantly... deaths... there is no way another country can catch us now.
