Saying it is the easy part. All you need to do is get into the playoffs and as the Giants and Ravens have proven anything can happen. I like their chances to win the NFC East again, so who knows. What I don't get is why athletes feel the need to say things like this and personally I don't buy the "what else are they going to say" arguments.

Pretty bold statement when you consider the draft hasn't even happened yet ... Every NFL team is different every single year ... You can't bank on last year .... Unfortunately, I think the Cowboys have nailed recent drafts and are probably one more great draft from seriously contending for a ring. If they get a guy like Gurley, or a few more solid defenders, it's going to be scary.

That said, I continue to have faith in Romo to choke under pressure. He didn't choke last year in part because he was asked to do much less, thanks to his offensive line and running game.

I was told why not say it and it is motivation. Because getting paid millions is not motivation enough.

I hate it when players and coaches say this crap or predict rushing for 2000 yards or getting 20 sacks. Shut your mouth and prove it.
