I wonder if the Warriors will start resting players now that they've lost or keep trying to win to have a chance at the all time record. I'd expect some DNP's (rest), being healthy for the playoffs are more important.

It is way too early to start resting players....and on top of that they're a young team. I highly doubt we see them resting anyone until March.

I bet Tracy McGrady could do it.

You need a lot of luck for it to happen. Pretty much you have to hit all your shots (must be 3's), force turnovers, and hope for missed fts

Health in the long run is more important than any record. Agreed.
And they still have a shot at it even with the rest, the main guys won't sit out a lot.

If we're being realistic, coming back from double digits with less than a minute to go is pretty impossible.

When I first started watching basketball in the late '80s, I figured that the trailing team needs to get the lead down to 8 or less before the 2 minute mark in order to have a realistic chance to come back. The exception of course is if you're Reggie Miller and you know that the Knicks will keep handing the ball to you during the last minute.

I wouldn't expect a lot of games off because they're young, but all the effort they've put into this, some very close calls and then trying hard to comeback tonight I feel like they deserve at least one game to rest. Of course the players are probably upset about this one and want to get back out there as soon as possible to get back to their winning ways.

First time in 30 games the Warriors didnt score more than 100 points so the Bucks defense did a good job tonight. Will be interesting to see if they can continue. Only six three pointers tonight when they were averaging 13

Schedule breaks nicely for them now in terms of breaks. They don't play again until Wednesday which is 3 days off. Then they play Phoenix on Wednesday and Milwaukee on Friday before they get 4 more days off. So in the next 10 days they only play 3 games.

A very impressive win for Milwaukee. Their defense really did a stellar job.

Yeah I just saw that they play next on Wed, if they had lost last night in Boston with a B2B tonight I would have expected the starters to sit. But 3 games in 10 days is doable for them.

I feel bad what the Warriors are going to do to the Bucks when they visit Golden State in a few days
Are they going to turn off the hot water in the visiting team's locker room shower?

Or they could do what the Spurs did and turn off the air conditioner.

(for real though that wasn't intentional and we all know it. :thumb:)

I agree...the record was getting way to much hype. They had to lose one eventually.

Yeah, definitely. The thing I was watching for was whether the Warriors were doing things differently because of the streak. I feel that they were starting to do things differently, such as having the main guys play a lot of minutes last night and having Klay play tonight instead of continuing to rest him. It would've been fun for it to continue, but the streak ending ensures that there won't be any questionable decisions based on maintaining it.

Nice winning streak for the Warriors, but I am really glad that they didn't break the Lakers 33 games record. I don't mind seeing them break the Bulls 70 wins though

Klay says "We missed some shots. They didn't shut us down. Nobody shuts us down." This dude needs a reality check on how to lose. So arrogant.

Lies, they knew it was "that time of the month" for LeBron and took advantage of his cramping.

Warriors were EXHAUSTED, end of a 14 day 7 game roadie, back to back after double OT, Klay playing hurt. They were done. Props to the Bucks but c'mon.

Two things:

1. Kind of a big game first game back Wednesday....at home, 4 days to rest, not a top level opponent, no excuses if you don't win, and fail to prevent a losing streak from starting...pressure on the Ws, let's see what they got.

2. Warriors play the Bucks again at home fairly soon, they're gonna win that one by 27
