Tomsula New HC

Chris_Pozz adamantly denied him being a yes man. Said that his fiery nature could be an issue with management. He said calling him a yes man was as uninformed as those saying he couldn't coach because of being an NFL Europe guy.

I respect Pozz's opinion, but is this the best the 49ers could do? A dline coach with no NFL coordinator experience?

Gase helped run a good offense before Payton except for 1 year. Go look at past years. Im not a big fan of him but I would rather have him then Tomsula.

I agree 100%, Yes players will play for him but once we start losing its all down hill. York took the cheap way out. This is a joke. Guy hasn't even been a DC yet. Now if we lose Fangio we will have no OC or DC.

This is so bad. This jut ruined my day.

I like the guy just not for HC. Does he even no how to game plan or run a practice. He is a position coach. WOW

I wanted Mike McCoy (as OC) because of his Utes connection. Felt he would be a good coach (couldn't say great, even my bias won't let me). He would have then been a candidate to coach here.

So much for getting a Ute back on the team.

I agree, the smart thing would hire Fangio and then move Tomsula as the DC. Now we lost one of the best HC in the NFL and now we are about to lose Top 5 DC in the league.

49ers might be back to being a door mat of the west.

He does have HC experience, albeit in Europe.

That is Europe BIG different. This is almost like the Cavs hiring a guy from Europe. Just a dumb move by their part.

We really need to Hit a Home Run with OC and DC now.

Shanahan might still want to be our OC. No clue about DC now.

Besides hiring Dan Quinn, Darrell Bevell, Mike & Kyle Shanahan or promoting Fangio I would say this is a good move. Im not sure why the reason but there must be a reason why Fangio isnt the HC.

I am not a Shanahan fan but u are right. Anything is better then this. Damn it I would rather have Rex Ryan. At least Rex knows Defense and he is a rah rah guy like Tomsula.
