Great respect for the man but one major problem, he has Bill Belichick’s number.

Tom Coughlin has informed his staff that he is out as the New York Giantscoach, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

The Giants are expected to make a formal announcement regarding Coughlin later Monday.

Coughlin met with Giants ownership Monday, one day after New York completed its third consecutive losing season. Coughlin coached the Giants for 12 seasons, leading them to two Super Bowl championships.

McAdoo to take over, you guys think?

Think he is on the list, but Im hearing buzz they make a strong push for Sean Payton

If they do that, dont know how they keep the staff intact

Payton is a great coach, but they just got used to this offensive style of play. Not sure it would be the correct call to make.

1st off. I'm a little delayed on this but sir. Welcome back

2nd. I'm not a huge Payton fan. Great offense mind................... Defense needs some work(ALOT OF WORK)

Definitely true, I guess it comes down to whether they feel Mcadoo is HC material

I honestly have no idea

Something has to be done in the off-season about their defense, it's a hot-mess.

And thank you, sir :)

He's been here, what, 2 years now? Offense looks much better than it did from the start, I think making McAdoo the HC would be better than bringing in Payton and possible changing the offensive system and starting over.

If they don't get better personnel on D it won't matter who they hire. The GM should have been fired for relying so heavily on John Bison when everyone knows the guy can't get through a season without getting injured.

Still, it's an attractive job. Durable, solid QB, a superstar WR, their #1 pick this year looks like a keeper on the O line and 50 mil under the cap. They can get much better quickly

Does the offense look better because of him or because of Odell?
