That's why I started replacing lunch with a protein shake and also have one after my workout...


Upped my calorie intake about 400 a day..

but I've noticed a lot more definition allready- me biceps are almost completely solid when I flex now.... can't wait till they start growing


Thee wieght ain't droppin quite as fast- but pretty close- but thee muskles are responding

Last week I started replacing breakfast or lunch with a protien shake 340 calories....


Ever since then I haven't lost even a .5 lb...... and me muscles don't seem to be getting any bigger either- I seem to have hit my first plataue....


So I started running again this morning- turned my fastest mile yet...... and I'm gonna not use the whey protein the rest of the week and see what happens.

awesome.

Maybe add a fat free yogurt to you morning, or a orange or apple? Something to give you some good sugars to start the day. Sugars are nearly as bad as saturated fats, but if you are going to have sugar eat it early. Also something like a yogurt, orange or apple can add a little to your caloric intake.

I usually have a orange, apple or bannana around 10 am... then a clif bar for lunch, then supper is something with a chicken breast or turkey breast

Maybe I should have measured before I just put aside thee whey protien for lunch...


In the last week I've only lost 3 lbs..... I was pumped when I hit 226 cuz I lost two lbs that day...

I didn't "see" muscle development..... but the tape don't lie...

Last tuesday.... Jean Size- 40.5, Chest 43, Bicep 16.75, Waist 42
This tuesday.....Jean Size 39, Chest 44, Bicep 17, Waist 40.75


Wasn't losing weight cuz the protien was working......

Not sure what to do- cuz the long term goal is to be big and ripped.

However the short term goal is to win a bet- involving me having a 6-pack in a short amount of time... top 2 are almost there- bottom 4 still have a lot of fat covering them..


Thinking I should not worry about muscle mass and concentrate on fat burn- but if I can do both at sametime- it'd be silly not to.....

are you having 6 small meals a day? This helps keep your metabolism going. And if you are putting a shit ton of work into the gym on weights and cardio you might want to up the calories just a tad because your body will need the energy.

but 6 small meals is better then 3 normal sized meals.
