I think so but not renewing it is the same as getting fired.

He made great strides with the program. WSU wanted a "name".

It might get better in time but right now it looks like they've take several steps backward.

they were actually competitive in the games which was huge for them.

I thought they'd win 5 or 6 games this year had they not changed.

I'd hoped that Leach could take what he had and do even better but that's asking a lot. Hard to change EVERYTHING and be successful immediately.

Very true on all points. I think because they have a stud receiver and an experienced quarterback, I do think they will still hit the 5 or 6 win mark as it should be a smooth transition into Leach's system
