What the hell is a ground wasp? They look like a mud dobber?

mud dobbers are like neutered Lab's, compared to Ground Wasps. Ground Wasps are like a pack of Rabid Chiwawa, lots of teeth and hard to fend off. Piranha's with poisonous teeth are close.

They have a nest in the ground and it's looks like a scene from Battlestar Galactica. The nest being a Cylon Battlestar and the wasps are Cylon Raiders.

Not saying mud dobbers are tough, but was asking if they look like mud dobbers. Just trying to keep my wasp family visuals straight, so I know which ones to run from. For example, I don't run from mud dobbers. I will run from several hundred angry yellow jackets, etc.

See post above. Wasn't saying mud dobbers (dirt dobbers to you) are tough. Just wanted to know what the Okie ground wasps looked like, you know, do they look like mud dobbers.

As mentioned above, I just want to know what the visual characteristics of this dastardly pest are, so I can keep the wasp family straight. Kind of like the Enemy Aircraft Identification charts used in WW11, used so you know which ones to run from or kill.
