Sutter looks great.

Love having a right stick among the top three centers, now.

Malkin with a power play goal. Hope he picks up where he left off in the KHL.

He may only be a rookie, but Beau Bennett does not look out of place at all out there tonight. Wonder if he earns a couple more games to prove himself..

Sutter pounds it by Vokoun to tie it up! I'm sold already. Welcome to Pittsburgh Brandon.

That Megna kid... I didnt know his name before tonight, but I'll be watching for it from now on. Nice surprise.

Sutter was my other smile... Shero got a great deal for Staal.

Only saw the highlights, but definitely liked some of what I saw. Sutter has some hands! And it sounds like he really found chemistry with Cooke & TK. The advantage of Sutter instead of Staal is that we don't have a "is he used properly" dilemna. Sounds like he's in the perfect role, and hopefully at the right price for a while. If we could have a solid 3rd line with chemistry, I hope we keep it and try other wingers on the top line.

That Megna shootout was slick!

Did Despres, Morrow, or any of the other young D stand out?

Eh... so-so, Misko. Been hibernating through the lockout haha.

None of the young D made your eyes bug, Dacks.

Despres looked great one moment, then would get smoked the next. Morrow didn't amaze or look terrible. Strait, Bortuzzo the same.

Megna was doing little things all game. I had forgotten he existed, but he was here, there, and everywhere in the game. Got his name called a lot. I have a feeling Disco was impressed enough with his work, he gave him the shootout chance.

Orpik looked angry. He planted 2 guys on their snuff cans.

Bennett looked very comfortable. I think he may sneak onto the big squad, because Tangradi just doesnt seem to work. I've been waiting and waiting for Tangradi to break out, and he keeps not doing it. Looked overwhelmed on Geno's line.

I think on a different team with a different system, he'd have a shot to be effective. But I'm losing faith about his fit on this team. Hope I'm wrong.
