Losing a parent has got to be tough. I'd almost rather go before them.

I want to be tired. I want to go to bed at midnight and get up at 8 am like normal people. My apartment is tidied, my letters are written, and I can't work because that gives me insomnia. If I work on my novels I'll surface at 5 am...so I don't want to do that either.
