WalterFootball.com: 2014 NFL Mock Draft: Second Round

Washington Redskins: Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
The Redskins just re-signed DeAngelo Hall, but he won't be around much longer. Another Virginia Tech cornerback could be a possible long-term solution.

They have Washington selecting Kyle in the 2nd round.

He also has Logan going in the 4th to San Fran. I think that could be an interesting fit for him and give him a chance to learn from Harbaugh.

Logan Thomas is the one in the middle.

So...he's between a bust and a hohum starter that might put up good numbers if he has a beast WR to throw to. Oh well. Get dem checks LT! That money doesn't know stats.

LT better make it as an NFL QB. Then I can tell everyone I played an NFL QB in Intramural Basketball and my team had every shot inside the arc blocked

i dont know that i'd call Locker a bust, and i would definitely say Cutler is above hohum...the point of my post was Locker, with those numbers was drafted 8th overall, Cutler 11 overall. Granted the draft classes were surely different, i was surprised to see that as much flack as LT3 gets, he had arguable a better college career than 2 first round QBs

Kyle Fuller to Bears in first round

Sorry Croc. I don't feel that bad for you though. Just glad some NFCe team didn't get him. The G-Men and Cowpies have been scooping up Hokies the last few years.

DBU another first rounder!! Very happy for Fuller!

Got to help recruiting. Especially coupled with the two future stars waiting in the wings right now.

Always good to see a Hokie go in the 1st round. We're gonna get some Hokie on Hokie violence though. Jarrett Boykin (Packers) matched up against Fuller.

Corey Fuller is also on the Lion's practice squad. Doubt he makes the roster this year but you never know.

We could have two first rounders next year in Jarrett and Maddy.

Optimistic with Jarrett IMHO... Maddy though, yea. Amazing how many WRs and their S, DB counterparts went in the 1st round. No RBs again. The weird new Fun'n Gun NFL is here to stay it seems.

Am I the only one who misses a solid 3.3 yard gain between the tackles? Guess so.

4th round, 120th overall: Logan Thomas to the Arizona Cardinals.

Good spot for him. He can sit for a year or two behind Carson Palmer. And more importantly, fellow Hokie Bruce Arians is good working with QBs. Hopefully he can work his magic and finally bring LT to his full potential
