It was a typical stupid hire from Osborne from the very beginning. We have real talent in this program in a shitty baseball conference. It's not like we are in the Big 12 and losing. That would be understandable.

By comparison, Van horn had Nebraska in Regionals his second year, Super Regionals his third year, and the CWS his 4th. Van Horn built something out of nothing at Buck Beltzer stadium.

There is absolutely no excuse why Nebraska doesn't win the B1G in baseball every year. As previously mentioned we have the best facilities, nicest field, came from a tougher conference, and the B1G absolutely BLOWS at baseball.

I liked the Erstad hire....only because I thought he would be successful, but he isn't. Some players make good coaches, some don't. Some coaches were horrible when they played, but are good at coaching. I think it's time we fork over some money and get a real coach for the baseball team.
