It is really stupid this thread is going to be used as much as it will be.

I just don't understand how people with every thing they have do such stupid things. It is not like it is hard to own a gun legally in Indy.

In Pacman's case I am sure the woman had it coming. Not like he has ever been known to have issues with alcohol or violence.

We keep letting these bums play.

You know....when I was a kid there was a guy named "Hacksaw" Jim Dugan. He used to come to the ring with a 2 X 4 and just clear the place out.

I'm just imagining Roger Goodell is just about ready to have one of those moments.

Charges have been dropped and Spievey and his girlfriend are back together. (stupid bitch)(or stupid Amari, not sure which)(maybe both)

Getting in a bar fight in Oklahoma is like getting in a pool tournament in other states, so that one doesn't count.

It's been a slow off-season for the Lions.

:L but I will take it :suds:

No matter where you look it is great news. They have stopped getting caught in D-Town for drugs so they have either gotten better at selling them, paid off the right officials, or the long shot stopped selling them :hope:

Maybe Shwartz has properly addressed their off field issues :hope:

You have to love these threads. I heard these stats last week while people were pasting the NFL for their thuggish ruggish players. Over 3% of Americans gets arrested in their lifetime. Over 10% of men between 22 and 32 get arrested. 2% of NFL players get arrested. So while these guys get arrested and it's big news more of us get arrested so I'd have to say more of these thuggish ruggish athletes actually were taught how to behave than the rest of us. Just something to chew on.

My first father-in-law told me that if I haven't been fingerprinted, mugshotted, and thrown in jail, that I'm not an American citizen. I've thought of applying for citizenship, but it seems like an awful lot of trouble.

Detroit needs to elect either Eminem or Ted Nugent a their mayor.

First, they couldn't screw the city up more than the felon they've had before...

Second - it would be entertaining.

Perfect timing after Harbaugh gave his "above-reproach" speech.

Prosecutors sought the warrant last week to arrest Ahmad Brooks on suspicion of committing felony assault with a deadly weapon. A judge signed it last Thursday, but the county district attorney's office asked to have it put on hold the next day, Santa Clara Superior Court spokesman Joe Macaluso said. According to police, Brooks hit teammate Lamar Divens with the bottle three times and then punched him in the face during an early morning argument on June 8. The alleged attack left Divens with a 3-inch cut on his forehead, according to police statements accompanying the warrant application.

This to go along with his 2008 charge of punching a woman in the face.

Except pretty much everyone else isn't pulling down six to seven figures from a legitimate job.

Old, but seems like the best place for this:

Added twist is the mental health issues Griffin has which draw extra concern on his transgressions. Also interesting that it is the 2nd Viking arrested in the past week. These NFL teams must all be thanking god that training camp starts this week and these numbnuts can all get back to work

Crazy... This kid had so much potential... He was on his 3rd or 4th team, and quickly ditched yet again.

Massachusetts used to have a MANDATORY year in jail for having a gun in your possession without a firearm ID card. Do they still have that?

Somehow, the year in jail never got served. Goofy liberal judges.

You sure? Sounds a lot like the definition of a felony
