Dan Wetzel has been tweeting on this and I think he is right on target with his opinion that Winston should never set foot in this hearing. His reasoning was that anything he says in that hearing can be used in a court of law and his best path is not say anything and remain silent.
Shooting your mouth off in the press is one thing but having it documented in a formal hearing is quite another even if it isn't through the courts. If his testimony turned up any inaccuracies in FSU's hearing a prosecuting attorney would tear that to pieces even if Winston never took the stand. In essence it gives him a slew of new witnesses to testify that Winston lied about something and if Winston doesn't take the stand to refute it will be a blood bath.
If I'm his attorney I advise him to drop out of school before I set foot in that hearing.
