Bummer.....obviously not smoking in the car is just a given politeness, but I don't think I could not smoke when we stopped for gas or to eat, especially if I'm going without alcohol for the duration of the trip as well.

Now I don't smoke anymore, but I remember how it was. Hopefully you had a good family trip though.

well i chew...so it shouldn't be a problem. however if i were to break a can out on the trip i would bet i would get a backhand across the face. my parents and i have not fought about much in my life...but me chewing is one of them that will not go away.
