I don't surf (message boards) anyway much while laying down, but I'll usually prop the laptop up on some extra pillows to establish a comfortable angle en sech......

Yes sir. Mine vents really well out the side. My old computer vented out the bottom which is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life. I don't know what they were thinking when they decided to build laptops with the heat vent on the bottom where the laptop obviously would be sitting on something not allowing the heat to get out.

I was looking at possibly getting an ultralight type machine, and the ASUS Zenbook I think actually vents out the keyboard so it isn't hot at all on the bottom.....

Trying to figure out my next gadget purchase......ultralight pc or some tablet......I kind of really like the ASUS Transformer Prime which can function as both devices essentially with the keyboard doc......although it's Android.....versus a true ultra light can be windows or mac (if you have extra cash to just throw away)
