I'm not sure what his current salary is, but I'd keep him for around $5 million or so as a backup. I don't think the issue has been that he sucks as much as it's been that he just isn't athletic enough for todays game.

I was hoping that he would be a help in defending the paint, but the Lakers perimeter defense has been so bad that guys have been running unchecked to the basket and Hibbert just isn't quick enough be able to leave his man and get back. At times he's looked like a 7 foot revolving door (or me trying to corral my grandsons. lol).

I can't question his effort, he plays hard and from what I've heard, has been a solid guy in the locker room. He fares a little better against teams that play a more deliberate style. I could see him as solid backup center.

He currently makes *gulp* 15.5 mil......

If the Whiteside thing doesn't come to fruition * I think he stays in Miami * , maybe take a swing at trading for Monroe...

Or

If Orlando is dumb enough to take Howard back, Vuvecic.

He's only 25, putting up 18 and 9 and only makes 12 mil for the next few Seasons...

Yeah, if Whiteside doesn't work out, I think Horford is also set to be an FA and think maybe Drummond too (but not sure). I would love for the Lakers to get Vucevic (and not just because he's a Trojan and better than Thompson).

I'll be switching back and forth between the Kobe game, the GSW game and the Dodgers game. Then, when the Dodgers dumpster fire of a bullpen gives up the lead, I'll just be watching the Lakers and GSW games.
