Generally speaking- the most important positions in the NFL in order:

1. QB: Baker Mayfield
2. DE: Myles Garrett, Vernon
3. CB: Denzel Ward
4. LT: Greg Robinson
5. WR: ODB, Landry

plus, have Njoku at TE, Chubb and Hunt and Duke Johnson at RB,

sounds like Earl Thomas is going to be signed to replace Peppers and join Randle to form one of the better safety combos in the league

Richardson and Ogunjobi at DT.

I mean.......

Its hard not to be extremely excited.

That LT would worry me quite a bit. How
Is the Oline looking?

I mean...the Ravens lose a ton of their defense- Suggs, Mosley, Weddle, etc....

the Steelers lose, in consecutive years, Bell and Brown...Ben is getting up there (but is admittedly still great)

the Bengals kinda suck.....

the AFC North is wide open.

the Browns still have a TON to prove. Paper transactions mean nothing. They are going to have to prove it on the field and take it away from 2 teams- the Ravens and Steelers, who are always well coached and play the game the right way.

No doubt though- they have the roster to do it.

I hope they shore up the offensive line with some depth in the draft

signing Earl Thomas to replace Peppers would be excellent.

he played pretty well the 2nd half of the season when he took over the starting job- but by no means do i trust him to be a solidly above average tackle.

i hope they address O-line depth in the draft. They still have 8 draft picks including their 2nd and 3rd rounder. I think they should solidfy their own line with those picks and with the cap room they have left.

Joe Thomas took a year off....

can he get in shape and come out of retirement for a year or two? Please Joe?!?!?!?!?!

i mean, if any guy deserves to be on a team that can do something its him-

i feel bad he didnt have a couple more years in the tank.

There has been many years I kept predicting the Browns will be good and be legit SB contenders, I can no longer go out on that branch as they always prove me wrong.

Oh hell who am I kidding, the Browns are winning the AFC.

There is something to be said about how many assets you can accumulate when you tank for multiple years as long as one of those years involves a franchise QB.

Browns hired baseball people to tank and a football guy to pick players. Good formula.

It'll be addressed in the draft, possibly in the 2nd round. I expect them to take at least two offensive linemen. They still have 8 draft picks, and it wouldn't shock me to see them move up to take a tackle if one falls in the late 1st/early 2nd.

OBJ & Jarvis Landry starting together. Next, they'll sign Jamarcus Russell, and the circle will be complete.

Not a bad way to go. G Rob was a Jeff Fisher project.

Rams need a LT too

I'm not really sure you can go into a draft and expect to address LT. It just sort of happens. Greg Robinson just needs to not totally suck and he'll be fine. Cameron Erving was starting for the Chiefs last year and they had a top offense. You can have one or two bums on your oline as long as they aren't completely terrible.

Browns dynasty
Depends on Baker.

Browns should be a serious contender for awhile for every year Baker is a top 8 QB. If Baker fluctuates like a Cam Newton or a Marcus Mariota then maybe not.

Oh you're definitely right, you don't need to have studs at every OL spot, but when it comes to the most important spot on the line, you've gotta make sure you have plenty of talents to choose from. For example, I think guys like Andre Dillard or Yodney Cajuste have to be on their radar in the 2nd. And if Robinson works out, now you've got depth, or perhaps someone you can shift to the right side.

Still decided retirement possibly?

Looks like they lost Saffold and Sullivan if they lose Whitworth too. Wow
Yeah Saffold is gone. It could get ugly if Whitworth reverses course and hangs it up.
