They're projected to go 6-12, so that would be quite a leap to double what they are projected to do. And even 12-6 might not be enough. That would be quite the turnaround if they managed even double digit wins in conference.

Not sure how much you've watched them but the talent is there. They seemed to spend large portions of the first 9 games treating the season like a summer league game. I think once Cook gets back the combo of him and Pemsl in thr post will be tough for any team in the B10 to deal with but I'm going to need to see last night's defensive effort on a consistent basis before I get too excited. When you average 90 ppg and are 5-5 that should tell you something lol

I watched them against Seton Hall, UVA and ND and they didn't look particularly good in any of those games. I think Cook is really good. And Iowa should improve on the season because they are so young. I just think getting 12 wins in the B1G will be hard for this team, which is what it would take for them to make the NCAAT.

Ugh yeah the UVA game will scar you on Iowa for sure. The other 2 games Iowa had stretches where they played quite well but couldn't sustain it, part of being young I guess. Last night was the first time we played 40 minutes so I'm hopeful especially with the B10 being down this year. Even a NIT bid would really help the young guys on developing

Good win for Iowa over Iowa St. If this team decides to play defense they may be pretty good come league play

We will see man. Our young guys can really score it so I think they've got a shot to surprise people IF they commit on the defensive end. B10 is pretty down this year so anything is possible

@mr.hockey4242 I don't really expect them to win, but Wojo's Marquette squad (#36 in KenPom) is hosting Wisconsin today, which should be a fun atmosphere. Marquette's offense is fun to watch. They finally got some reliable outside shooting and Wojo's two freshmen (Hauser and Howard) have exceeded expectations so far.
