So much for having a good season carrying the day in recruiting. Baylor has their best year in a while and are dead last in the Big 12 per 24/7. 10 out of 10.

I can't wait to hear my Baylor alum brother-in-law whine about this at Christmas!
Wait til the next cycle. So many of these kids were already so far into the recruiting phase that they had developed strong relationships with coaches long before Baylor has the season they did. My guess is next year they'll have a bit more success in class rank, and if Baylor is able to get back to that top 10-15 level in 2020, the 2021 class should improve quite a bit.

While we're not done with the 2020 class yet, the current leader in the clubhouse for worst P5 class, and by a fairly wide margin, is....

ARKANSAS!

WHOOOO PIGGGGGGGG SHIT CLASS!

Currently sitting at 113th in the nation, they are behind such notables as 0-12 Akron, and even in-state Arkansas State!

If that happens my Baylor alumn brother-in-law will be unbearable. Hell, he's a royal pain in the ass as it is.

Guess I better not give him too much shit about this year then huh?

Good luck to Sam Pittman fixing that disaster, basically starting off with a lost recruiting class.

The early signing period has been around for what, 3 years now? And Arkansas has had a new coach for two of them. Just pretty awful luck. Even Bielema's first class he was able to salvage and get up to #23 because he had more time.

Morris had us up to #23 as well before he started getting blown out as the season went on and it fell to #50, then after he was fired a lot of Texas recruits decommitted and we fell to #118 with only 6 commits. It's not really Pittman's fault that he can't sign a lot of guys in only 10 days on the job. Morris just left us in an awful situation. Not a whole lot you can do about it except try to convince some guys to wait until February to sign and hope to keep building relationships with them.

If he can even get it to #50 that would be a success IMO. Going to have to hit the transfer and JUCO market hard. We've already moved up 27 spots to #86 today so that's a start lol. Average player rating per 247 is at .8649 or about 33rd in the nation. So while Arkansas isn't adding numbers yet in this class, quality is better than vandy and Mizzou and roughly in line with Ole Miss.

USC is 78th nationally

How the fuck does that happen?

They are dead last in the PAC-12
They did not get a single player in the top 25 in the entire state of California

I guess it must have been posted and discussed elsewhere on the Hoop, as this should resonate loudly.

But, Maybe USC has fallen so far that no one even cares??

5 star RB Zach Evans sent home from the Texas state championship for behavior. His 2nd suspension of the year. Good luck to whoever signs him

Of the top 25 recruits committed to PAC schools, USC doesn't have a single one. It's really hard to comprehend that.

Doesn't look like North Shore needed him anyway.

I'd be willing to bet this kid has been a pain in the como se llama since before he was in junior high.
