I'm concerned about the Braves keeping a firm grip on the NL East. 4 of the 8 starting regulars out, and it doesn't look short term.

Don’t forget Austin Riley too. We are definitely hanging on right now. But the good news is we have already played the tough part of our schedule. We have a 2 week stretch coming up where we play gNats and Phillies in 4 straight series, if we can get some back by them series I still like our chances

Yeah, and I get why people are counting them out. The SP is what it is (bad outside of Nola), but I will say that the bullpen has been tremendous lately.

Also, Rhys Hoskins has the lowest batting average of any hitter since the ASB in the NL. You know he’s gotta break out of it sometime, hopefully soon. Realmuto and Harper have been really hot lately, if we can get those three going at the same time (something that hasn’t happened all year), our offense will be a force to be reckoned with.

But we’ll see. We’re not deserving of being a preemptive choice to make the playoffs right now, and I kinda like it that way.

I just have to thank God that Maikel Franco is no longer on the team. Holy shit, it has been so refreshing to watch Phillies games these past couple weeks and not have to watch him come to bat, field, or just see his stupid fucking goofy smile
