Lol. I guess so. He may develop into more but Oklahoma has so much depth at running back you’re gonna have to be SPECIAL to be the guy. Anderson is that guy. Pledger can be that guy. Sermon might be able to.

You're right though, he'll be a solid goal line back. I'm not upset about OSU not getting him, he would likely be no higher than 5th on our depth chart next year, if not lower.

Asomoah, though, is going to be a starter sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what the LB situation is at OU, but we're overloaded at the position, which might be why we didn't pursue him. Either way, he has stud potential for sure.

Say what you want about Kirby Smart, but so far he has made good on his word of locking down local talent. You'll never be able to keep em all, but he's done a far better job than Richt ever did, though it appears Richt was better at recruiting Florida so far.

From what I heard, he had someone in his ear that convinced him Larry Johnson (OSU's DL coach) was retiring, and that's what made him decommit. He just committed to us in April, so it's not like Smart didn't have ample time to work on him.

He's far from the first 5* OL from Ohio to not go to OSU, so I'm not gonna lose any sleep. It helps already having two mammoth blue chip OL in this class, not to mention we brought in three blue chip OL last year.
